Telus Storyhive Grant

I received the Telus Storyhive grant to direct, produce and distribute a mini video podcast series "Through her eyes: Navigating healthcare as a woman of color", which was distributed by TELUS Optik TV On Demand on at least 6 Community Showcase channels in Fall 2021.

I am a co-recipient of a Language Research Centre graduate fellowship to organize workshops on the
issues of racism in the context of Canada. As part of the project and archive of the Black Lives Matter Movement, I put together a list of articles and resources on our website, Narratives of Color.

Erasmus Mundus Scholarship MA Crossways in Cultural Narratives

(UK, France and Spain)

2015-2017

After a very severe selection process ––over 300 candidates for 40 places, I received a scholarship place to pursue a Master's program at three European universities: University of Sheffield, Université de Perpignan and Universidad de Santiago de Compostela.
As a Mundus scholar, I presented my research at multiple conferences in Europe.
